One of the things I never seem to have enough of is storage space. It’s been a pain point in the past, and so, when we were house hunting a little over a year ago, it was certainly on my short-list of considerations. How much closet space is there? Is there room for a storage bench for shoes? Can that wall turn into a spot for built-ins??
Interestingly, even as our home size has steadily increased from an apartment to a four-bedroom home with a basement, my need for storage has increased right along with it. Regardless of whatever size home you’re in, as designer Emily Henderson once said, “There’s no such thing as too much storage.”
Since I’m continually on the hunt for storage solutions, I’ve decided to round up some of my favorite storage pieces: closed-door cabinets. If you need an accessible place that’s aesthetically pleasing to store all the things, this is THE storage piece that you can use in just about any room.
