After I recently shared our living room updates on Instagram, I received a number of questions about how to create a corner gallery wall. I absolutely recognize that gallery walls are not necessarily the easiest thing to do, however, there are a few tips/tricks that make it much easier. If you have a corner that feels cold, or empty, this is a great way to make the space feel more cozy.
If you’ve considered a corner gallery wall but unsure where to begin…these are my tips:
- start by anchoring the gallery wall with your largest prints first
- these should be hung in the center, closest to the corner
- add smaller prints on the outside
- remember to keep your frames 2-3 inches apart
- and if you’re struggling for it to feel cohesive…try using frames in all roughly the same finish
One other thing…I used a total of 9 frames in this gallery wall—I like more of an asymmetrical appearance when I comes to eclectic gallery walls—so just know that it is okay to use an odd number of frames!
