About Us

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hello! We are Halley, Monica, and Gabby. We first started Everyday Mamas in 2018 as an uplifting alternative to some of the motherhood content we were seeing elsewhere — we sought to be a publication that could help inspire us and other mamas to see the beauty, dignity, and honor in our everyday work.

Our foundational principle has always been “love begins at home,” and with time, the ideal application of this principle became clear. As this phrase took even deeper root in our own hearts, our Home Design Services were born.

Everyday Mamas Design is here to work with you as we all strive to build the physical space for love to grow in our homes. We believe that the same beauty, dignity and honor which characterizes our work as mothers should also be reflected in the homes wherein that work takes place.

We want to help you love the home you have, and to feel confident in making a home for your family that reflects your unique interests, talents, style and aesthetic.

We believe the places where we live our everyday lives should marry beauty and function, and reflect the values of the family housed within. Our individualized Design Services, home tours, articles, and weekly newsletter work together to help you build a home you love, because love begins at home.

We’re so happy you stopped in today! Read about Our Mission here, find our Design Services here, and read our latest articles!

Halley Netsch

Halley grew up in Michigan as the oldest of 7 siblings. She moved to Texas to study at the University of Dallas, where she studied English, Spanish, and Drama, and met her husband at her first real job post-graduation in software sales.

She only lasted about a year in the tech industry before she decided to head back to her alma mater for a role in fundraising while pursuing her MBA. But three weeks before graduating, she found out she was expecting…not one baby, not two, but three. She and her husband welcomed triplet boys, and a baby sister wasn’t far behind two years later.

Halley and her family now live in her childhood home on 7 wooded acres in southeast Michigan.  She spends most of the day chasing kids, coffee in hand, and after bedtime she enjoys writing and designing.

Monica Aberle

Monica is a wife and mom of three kids ages 8 and under. She’s originally from a small farm town in Illinois, but currently lives in Dallas, Texas. Monica majored in Political Science at the University of South Dakota, graduating as a single mom. She went on to teach American History to middle school and highschoolers post-college—first at a local private school and subsequently for a remote learning program. Monica met and married her husband two years after college, and now she currently spends most of her days playing, feeding, and educating her little ones.

Monica’s experience both as a single mom and now a busy mom of three has made her passionate about supporting and encouraging women, especially in their roles as mothers.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing and editing for Everyday Mamas, tackling easy DIY projects, scrounging antique stores, and dreaming up ideas for new ways to make their house a home.

Gabby Kewell

Gabby is the oldest of three siblings who grew up by the beach in Southern California. She met her husband, Matt, when they were freshmen in high school, and they started dating soon thereafter. They both attended the University of Dallas where Gabby majored in English and Secondary Education with the goal of teaching high school.

Three months after college graduation they were married, and she began teaching English at their Alma Mater. They welcomed a baby girl the next summer, and two boys in the following four years.

Gabby’s passion for writing led her to join Halley and Monica here at Everyday Mamas. When she’s not homemaking or writing, she enjoys coffee fueled playdates with her friends and their kids, rearranging the furniture and decor in her home, and pretending like the laundry will fold itself.
